Shaheen Bagh

Shaheen Bagh in Delhi became the center of protests when India’s government attempted to enact discriminatory laws targeting it’s muslim population. These images are from filmmaking workshops for the women of Shaheen Bagh. In a media environment that increasingly marginalizes their stories, or attempts to speak for them instead, these workshops attempt to provide them with authorial and editorial skills so they can tell their own stories.
